Charles Lloyd
The owner of TMD Technologies is also the lead technician. Charles Lloyd began working in orthodontic technology in 1980. Before starting TMD Technologies in 1992 he worked at several large laboratories as technician, manager, inventor, quality control manager, sales/marketing and helped establish the first commercial orthodontic laboratory in Taipei, Taiwan. As a TMD and sleep patient himself, Charles has personally worn a splint or sleep appliance his entire adult life. As a technician and patient, fabricating splints and sleep appliances has provided a natural curiosity resulting in understanding the unique needs of the TMD dentist and their staff.
